Wishes and More was honored to be selected as the winner by the Timberwolves Community Giving organization, The Fastbreak Foundation as the January organization that best fit their WolvesCare mission. WolvesCare is a Month focused on organizations and events that work to service, support and encourage Minnesota youth suffering from terminal or long-term illnesses. As the winner we received a $10,000 grant, a booth to market our organization and were publicly addressed at the January 1st game against the Orlando Magic.
The Timberwolves also provided a fantastic suite stocked with snacks and refreshments for the attending wish children and their families. Tate, Taylor and Nik joined two board members on center court to graciously accept a massive check from Chris Wright, the President of the Timberwolves. They enjoyed seeing themselves on the jumbotron and waving to their families and fans. It was another extraordinary experience for these kids and provided another long lasting memory.
We greatly appreciate the donation/support from the Timberwolves and thanks to their generosity children and their families will be granted wishes in the future.
