Patrick, a Wishes & More wish child, led the way in the Spring Lake Park Tower Days parade held on June 8, 2006.  Waving proudly from his perch in the jeep, he was joined by volunteers from the Wishes & More staff and the Teens-4-Kids^™ volunteers.

The Teens-4-Kids dazzled the parade spectators with cart wheels and flips, while others sent sprays of candy into the crowd.

Patrick was representing Wishes & More after being granted his wish to have his favorite cable channels at home.  Patrick's wish also included his own TV, DVD/VCR player, along with three years of cable service.

The organizations' first parade appearance was a success, and hopefully will be the first of many!

Teens-4-Kids is a Wishes & More program providing volunteer opportunities for youth between the ages of 13 and 19.  Volunteers gain leadership skills while serving on teen boards, fundraising, and recruiting, along with actually meeting and working with the wish kids.  To get involved or find out more about Teens-4-Kids, click HERE
