Brief Description
Randy traveled all the way to Disney World to battle Darth Maul.
Wish
Randy loves to spend time outside, hunting, fishing, sledding, and snowmobiling. He also loves Nintendo and video games like most boys his age. But unlike most boys his age, Randy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August 2008. Thyroid cancer only affects about 1% of children with cancer.
Among Randy’s many interests, he is a huge Star Wars and Indiana Jones fan. This is why Randy’s wish was to go to Disney World. After rescheduling their flight, for a trip to the emergency room due to extreme hives the night before Randy was scheduled to leave, the family finally made it to Florida. The family visited Sea World, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Gatorland. Randy enjoyed training as a Jedi, battling Darth Maul, and meeting all the characters. Randy even received an autographed Darth Maul light saber.
Randy had an amazing time according to his mother, and we are so happy we could provide Randy and his family with a trip of a lifetime.
