Wish
Taylor, a twelve-year old from Scandia, was diagnosed with cancer located in his abdomen in March of 2010. He is a very active child, the youngest of four children who loves to skateboard, snowboard, ride his bike and play video games with his siblings. He lives for the outdoors and wishes to be able to be more independent with his new Yamaha Raptor 250. He was referred to Wishes & More to see if they could grant his dream of having his own ATV.
Sal’s Angus Grill & the Withrow Ballroom put on the Withrow Car Show benefitting Wishes & More on Sunday, August 29, 2010. At the event, Taylor was surprised by the Wishes & More team and received his wish in front of a crowd of nearly 150 people including his family and friends. Taylor showed off his new ATV by driving it all over the car show grounds and talking about his wish on the local radio station. Even though Taylor knew he was getting the ATV, the surprise of receiving it at the car show will help him remember this moment for the rest of his life!
