At a very young age Owen was diagnosed with a form of Leukemia, AML.  This sweet child who loves all toys, playing peek-a-boo, eating frosting right out of the jar and has a special love for Sesame Street, chose to meet some of his favorite characters for his wish. 

“All I can say is that we had an amazing trip! I have never seen Owen sooo excited and sooo happy. He was an angel the entire week.” 

The family was whisked away in a limo and taken to the airport on a cool Sunday morning in October. They had a great flight and, as if he knew he was about to have an exhausting, exciting trip, Owen slept for about an hour and a half of the flight.

The family flew to Jamaica for a special Sesame Street Sandals vacation, where they saw the ELMO show, ate at a character breakfast especially for Owen, danced with Zoe, ate cookies with Cookie Monster and most importantly forgot all about his sickness.
