Six year old Riley was born with a very rare disease called Aicardi Syndrome (a neurological syndrome). This disease is so rare that there are only approximately 500 cases worldwide. After developing complication from pneumonia Riley passed away March 25th.After Riley had passed, her Mom Nicolle completed the Memorial Application. She wrote us a long letter with the application and this is just a short portion of that letter:
This grant will mean the world to me. It would help me so much that I can’t even begin to put what it would mean to me in words. I have to return to work immediately now that the service is over because of financial issues. This grant will help pay for her service. Please let everyone know how grateful I am.
